Amir Ghadiri.
Amir Ghadiri (born in 1981 in Tehran, Iran) is an Iranian musician from a musically talented family. His musical journey anticipated when he was 9. His father, an Iranian Santoor player and traditional vocalist encouraged him to begin studying musical instruments. Amir formally followed his passion for Tombak, a goblet drum from Persia, under the supervision of the legendary Hojat Alborzi.
Amir’s talent in learning Tombak and rhythm helped him achieve the professional level at the very young age of 16, enabling him to have his first stage performance at the “Vesal Theatre” as part of the “Nakisa” Ensemble.
Amir began to show interest in learning Iranian “Dastgah”s and also string instrument violin in 1995, attending music lessons of Master Davood Ganjei and later on Mohammad Moghaddasi. Amir joined Dela Ensemble, a young Iranian band, in 2015 and still attends the rehearsals for their future public performances.
