Ashkan Ghaffari.

Born in 1983 in Tehran Iran, Ashkan Ghaffari’s music talent first discovered while he was 5. He showed a lot of interest in rhythm and music especially a traditional Persian instrument called Tombak also called Zarb where he started his training with Mastro Helmi.

He also had the opportunity to be a student of Siamak Banaie, one of the best teachers trained by maestro Mohammad Esmaïli. To date, training the traditional Tombak lessons to the younger generation, besides his professional career, he managed to perform in some Iranians and Australian festivals i.e. Sydney’s harmony day.
